Living Room opens the door to a musical theater beyond opera. Interpersonal, emotional relationships are told from within, without the need for a dramatic story.

Living Room is the result of a collaboration between the ensemble consord, the composer Alwynne Pritchard, the director Sandra Strunz and the choreographer Ted Stoffer. It is the result of research, a search for performative possibilities for instrumental musicians and for post-hierarchical structures - both in making music and in the artistic development process.
